We’re looking for an experienced HR Operations Specialist with strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice, ideally complemented by international exposure. You’ll bring proven experience in HR operations within multi-entity environments, proficiency in HR systems, and a track record of managing projects and driving process improvements. CIPD Level 7 and a degree in HR, Business, or Management (or equivalent) are essential, with additional qualifications in psychometric assessment desirable. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organisational skills are key, along with the ability to adapt to ambiguity and thrive in a fast-paced setting. Strong Microsoft skills (Word, Excel, SharePoint, Power BI, Copilot) and attention to detail are required. The successful candidate must be prepared to travel internationally and operate across multiple sites as needed.
The HR Operations Specialist will support the Division HR Director in delivering operational excellence, driving HR projects, and managing ad hoc tasks across the international division of companies. This role ensures the smooth running of division HR operations and effective project delivery, acting as a trusted partner to the HR Director and wider division teams.
Operational HR Support
- Support day-to-day HR operations at division level, including:
- Recruitment processes
- HRIS & data management
- Tracking division programmes
- HR communications & emails
- L&D activities
- Support compliance with international employment law, GDPR, and company policies.
- Support internal compliance audits.
- Act as the first point of contact for division HR queries, escalating complex issues as needed.
- Partner with senior leaders across subsidiaries to ensure division HR strategies are aligned with overall business objectives.
Project Management
- Lead and deliver HR projects (e.g., policy harmonisation, system implementations, process improvements, M&A integrations, talent and reward initiatives).
- Track project milestones, risks, and benefits, ensuring timely delivery and effective change management.
Ad Hoc & Strategic Support
- Prepare reports (including CSRD), dashboards, and presentations.
- Deputise for the HR Director in meetings and forums as required.
- Coordinate cross-functional HR initiatives with the group Centre of Excellence leads, regional HR leads, and business leaders.
- Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to inform HR strategy and workforce planning.
