Chassis straightening

Damage to a vehicle can happen to anyone. It may have many causes, a slippery road surface, a moment of inattention, improper loading etc.
At Terberg Techniek, we have specialized ourselves in straightening trucks, trailers and trailer chassis and also the straightening of for example mowing decks, forklift spoons, forklift masts, agricultural vehicles etc.
This requires not only modern equipment, but also old-fashioned craftsmanship, we have them both. Many damage-experts have already found there way towards Terberg Techniek.

The damage repair department at Terberg Techniek IJsselstein has 4 straightening bridges. When straightening, hydraulic cylinders are used. With the help of these hydraulic cylinders a pressure ranging from 10 to 60 tonnes can be performed on the chassis. In addition, there are induction devices being used. When using the induction devices, the steel will be locally heated for a few seconds, without damaging any cables or piping. That way straightening can happen more efficient without losing any strength from the chassis.

Alignment service

One element of damage repair is the alignment of the truck. After straightening of the chassis it is possible that the axes are not aligned. It's also possible the axles have hit something which has caused the imbalance. Terberg Techniek uses Josam truck aligner 2 equipment. Using this alignment equipment it will be balanced in no time. This way the tires won't wear uneven, and it will roll smoothly down the road.

Terberg Techniek has a paintshop where all repairs and modifications can be finished in the original vehicle colors.
